Rich has created an industry leading space to learn at Actor’s Instinct Studio. I joined in October 2023 and my skillset has improved massively. Auditioning at the studio allowed me to get on stage in a lead role with their production of “The Old School Yard”. I came to Rich’s class having never acted before in my life. From day one, he took me under his wing and welcomed me into the studio, which has been the most positive and supportive environment to find my feet as an actor.

Nine months later, we filmed my first showreel, something I’m really proud of and that was a great learning experience in itself. I’ve grown massively in confidence and ability during my time at the studio, and I’m incredibly grateful to Rich for giving me such a strong start to my acting journey.

Richard is a unique teacher in that he genuinely puts an incredible amount of energy into making every class as enjoyable and intense (in a good way) as possible.

Since joining at the grand old age of 40, with no real previous understanding of the industry, Richard and the AIS have helped me learn countless new techniques, create a showreel, get headshots and now land a part in my first play.
